Today was just another hot day in Delhi , so we just wanted to chill at the nearby Mall.

We were in no mood to get back to our room by the mid night, as the present days are quite frustrating for both of us. Me and Sourav, have nothing to do but battling the hot weather of Delhi.

At the Mall, we had so many things to kill our time. ( when I say things, it means the Crowd ). So, hanging out with friends at the Mall with cold drinks in hands is the best part of my life. As the time passed by and the darkness of night started taking over the evening, the crowd started moving out and there were only few people left out there.

Suddenly we noticed two guys with a book in their hands, trying to make a small conversation with the pseudo intellectuals, but no one cared to get tempted about what they were trying to say, not that thing was our time pass.

They were polite, they were well dressed, they were so down to earth, as they were salesmen, trying to sell the latest edition of Oxford Dictionary, an Encyclopedia.

After two hours of game, neither of the two was able to impress anyone with their hot deal of Oxford Dictionary @ an unbelievable price of Rs. 500/- (approx. $ 12), which is tagged MRP 49 UK pounds.

I and Sourav decided to get a brief introduction of them, not with pity but with concern, walked up to these folks. Both of us were welcomed with the scripted pitch which was almost by heart to us. We made one thing very clear to them that we were not talking to them to buy their stuff. To this Amar refutes saying, “What makes you walk up to us?”, which sounded very rhetorical as he continues “Is it out of pity??”

But, it didn’t shock us as we knew that those words were the most suitable words in that situation.                                                                  

After a small conversation, it revealed that they don’t get incentives or commissions etc, unlike most of us. Its just a part of their job to sell these books to people. This is what we call dedication, that most of us lack. At one point of time, we felt like buying it, but our pockets didn’t allow us to do so.

Now, it was time to take off, we shake hands. It was a good experience to talk to someone like this, however, the conversation gave us few more info about them, their names and numbers, just in case if we had any references, so we thought to help them in our way, by blogging about them. We clicked their photos and seek their permission to publish their contact info across the globe online, and they were more than happy to it.

This gave us an experience as these Malls are not always about sipping colas, enjoying air conditioned and watching chicks. it is also place for strictly work and no pleasure.

Nowadays, i get to see a new trend, my Cities FM Radio has started a new marketing stratigi, they make you do stupid thing on the busy roads of delhi and you get prises sponsored by Bingo.

What a great contest, just make fun of yourself and get a good amount of cash or whatever it is, it comes for a very small favour in return.

We have four seasons in a year. But there is a place where every season is cold like anything, a place in India called Kashmir, laying in the shadows of terror. We all read it on newspapers every morning enjoying our tea or coffee, but if you could really taste the experience of people living there. You will definitely know what is happening in our country. I have lived in different parts of India and I spent the largest part of my life in Kashmir, from 1990 to 1997. Seven long years are enough to experience what is the real story.

I have seen our army men standing on the top cliffs from 5 in the morning, and the stand like a non living thing, they stand there with a water bottle, a gun and a wireless which gives them what to do and what not to do. They are more like immortals, waiting for the orders from top officials.

I met one of them; he has killed many people during his 5 years of posting to Doda, Kashmir and he himself said he don’t know if they all were terrorists, but he get orders to shoot a suspect. That is his duty, He had no information about even an ATM card, he didn’t know about Internet, he didn’t care who is ruling the government, he had never seen the world except Kashmir’s Mountains but he had seen the faces of dead men.

A friend Afzal, whose uncle was taken to the local police station, was missing for 2 years, later he got a letter by someone that his dead body is found from some xyz place. Who can you or I blame. Was he really a terrorist or it was just a mistake, or if he was, is this the solution?

The problem of Kashmir is very old and I know that my experience will not affect it, but I really would like to tell you, what you see is not always correct.

Indian cinema, or Bollywood, or Bombay movies, has gained very much popularity these days, Shah Rukh Khan is known for his Devdas Movie everywhere and his recent release, Om Shanti Om has done a great business in U.S, around $3.6 Million.(a Shocking figure).

One of the Movie, Released Last Friday, Named Goal, doing good too.

This Movie is about a football team, as the name suggests.

There is a football club, which has member from Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, and they Battle against the Whites on the Football field.

I already wrote about the Aids Day, on 1^st December, and told you about the need of awareness.

In India, same thing was seen, I lie in Delhi, and there was a 3 day concert organised by a NGO, and this time, it was in rocking way, all the music band from the SAARC nation performed there. And it was everywhere, thousand of people were there for the concert, and hundreds were educated the importance of day as well are the importance of prevention from this deadly disease.

India once was called the Golden Bird, the palaces were embedded with golden work, and even the currency was in gold too. But the times changes as it is never permanent. India is called among 3^rd world countries, but my country is not that poor, if you every visit, you will find Mercedes e class, if not Ferrari. To be continued…….

The 1st Prime Minister of India, and his b’day is celebrated as Children’s day.

Pt. Nehru became the Prime Minister of India after the independence. and his b’day (celebrated as children’s day) was the independence day for many child labour, who were forced to work in small scale industries,such as Handcrafting.

23 Kids were rescued from zari units.among them was 13 year old Nadeem.

He gets the best gift on this children’s day for sure!!

today 9 November, Diwali is being celebrated and there is a lot of sound pollution created today.

Lets count,

Population of India is around 1 Billion

80% of them are celebrating Diwali today, firing crackers sound pollution but its really fun.

Indian not in India, also celebrate diwali. So, if you hear any sound blast it might be you Indian Neighbour celebrating diwali, Wish Him happy diwali. and

Past times have seen so much blood there, affected everyone from Human to Nature.I was quoted by a Poet “If there is Heaven on Earth,It is in Kashmir.I have also lived there for 6 years and i really felt that.

  I was there  between 1992-95 and again 2002-06.It was  more beautiful earlier

.Just one thing, it will be good if the place gets freedom from terrorist Attack, it again can be called a Heaven on earth.
